I have read many books about human development, psychology, love, religion, sex and I have never before have found such a profound book. Out of a 204 pages book I got 19 pages of notes in a MS Word!This book is simply a gem by itself! It contains no filling mumbo jumbo, and goes straight to the point in every page and every line.Mr. Patent got to my field of view through a program called Abundance for Life from Learning Strategies. When I heard an interview, I knew that /I have to really dig into his work and believe me, I was in no way deceived!Many thanks Mr. Patent for such a great book that got into my life in a very crucial moment in time.

I read an earlier edition of this book in 1985 and it changed my life permanently. As far as I'm concerned, Arnold "cracked the code" - i.e., he figured out the keys to making life work. Twenty-six years later, I still meet regularly with people who support each other in applying the principles in this book to their everyday life. The principles are always on my mind, and they inform my decisions and actions.In the 1980s and 1990s Arnold spoke to large audiences and you could hear a pin drop. Sometimes what he says sounds "different" to people who haven't given thought to the matter, and it may not resonate. Some of these people are eventually persuaded and others are not. That's okay. We all hear want we want to hear, we listen when we are ready to, and we take our wisdom from different sources. Everyone is different, and that's the beauty of the human condition.

After having done vipassana meditation for some time, i was already aware of some of the concepts in this book. This is probably one of the first books i read of this type that is not written in a "spritual" or religous overtone. The biggest downfall in my opinion is the lack of detail on how to practice what is taught, which is best done under the direct guidance of a teacher rather than through a book. Nevertheless i recommend this book for most people.

Arnold Patent is a uniquely superb teacher of the principles or Laws of the Universe that are constantly operating in our lives and which determine our life experience. His presentation is at once simple, compelling, empowering, and practical. To paraphrase the lawyer he once was, "Ignorance of Universal Laws is no excuse." They are always at work in our lives. Very disappointed. I loved Dragons Love Tacos. I feel the language in this book models a rude and sarcastic manner of speaking. I made the mistake of not reading it silently myself first and had to censor my way through it with my 3 year old. The concept of a kid turning himself into a robot with a crazy sauce recipe is funny, but they get it all wrong in that the robot the kid becomes is destructive and capable of turning its parents to smithereens and going on a destructive rampage. Perhaps the author thinks rude, destructive, foul mouthed children are cute? I do not.

I enjoyed Robo-Sauce so much that I bought copies for friends and family. It's humorous, light-hearted, extremely well-illustrated, and the COOLEST part - the book turns into a flashy new robot at the end (in fact, I think the process of turning the book into a robot is a great learning experience for children - it requires following instructions and thinking spatially). Not only is the book super fun, it's very timely. Technology is playing an ever-increasing role in our lives and kids are being encouraged to pursue interests in science/math/tech. This book is sure to please any child who is fascinated with sci-fi.

My kids love this one. It's a bit irreverent and silly, and I love that in the end the boy's family is shown supporting him and being silly with him. Surprisingly the pages haven't ripped, which is probably mostly luck since my kids aren't exactly cautious when flipping the cover around. Both my 8 and 4 year old still love me to read this one to them. It's a hit in our house!

I really, really loved Dragons Love Tacos. I'm happy to report that Robo-Sauce is just as great! In fact, I'd say my 3yo likes it even better. It's a fun, funny book that doesn't pain you to read aloud 100 times. The first time my partner read it to our son, he had to stop and catch his breath as he was laughing so hard. Definitely would recommend this one to anybody with a preschooler.

Very cute read. We love Adam Rubins books! This is a shorter read than some of his other books and I also feel the flap that turns into a robot may get worn out in time.

This book has an incredibly unique "element" to it that I will not share simply because I do not want to ruin the surprise. I've NEVER seen a book like it and was THRILLED with the story and its very unique ending. My son BEGS me to read this book every evening before bed. Love these guys!!!

My (nearly) 6 year old and I have read this over and over. He has even recruited some guests for this one. Part way through the story, the pages fold around and make it into a Robo-book. Cute and creative. Enjoy!

I love the Author so I assumed this would be great. I was wrong! It starts off with the boy taking things from others and smashing others' toys, which would be fine if the matter was handled in the story. Why would we want to show our children a bad kid whose behavior isn't even acknowledged. Returning cost almost as much as the cost of book. So now I have to keep it.

I learned the meaning of life and how it all works thru reading this wonderful book. He backs up every word of it with scientific experiments that prove his theory. David has a show on Gaia TV website ( .99 cents first month~ about ten bucks a month thereafter) in which he expands on what he says in this book with extras like graphs, pictures and humor. Ya gotta love this man. Ppl don't know it yet, but David Wilcock has done so much for the humsn race. And much of it at the risk of losing his own life from threats from those that want to keep us dumb animals. I love him for this. He's a great teacher because this subject excites him too, and this makes it easy to find yourself becoming excited right along with him. The things he digs up are truly amazing and the best adjective you can think of~ BECAUSE IT ALL MAKES SENSE FINALLY!! When's the last time THAT actually happened? None of the crap we were taught in school or church makes absolute sense. But this does. Do your thirsting mind and spirit a favor. Get this book. Then, get his other two. The newest just came out or is about to by the end of August at the latest. Knowledge IS Power. It's time we all were informed. Start here. No more lies. Let us wake up and then gently wake us others. It's our Human Birthright that was stolen from us. Truth.

I am a born skeptic and need to investigate all most anything I read-------my conclusions are: within this book are twenty chapters that are most illuminating and tantalizing to read but difficult to accept at times. Wilcock reveals a lot of hidden scientific facts that need further investigation---most of what I have researched borders on the truth but one's man's interpretations may not be suitable to another. He brings up the science of plant communication between species -----based on one scientist experimentation that was truthful----the same scientist that went on to invent the "lie detector" machine-Dr. Cleve Backster. He discusses the penal gland relationship to higher consciousness and incidental is shaped like a pine cone found on the top of the Popes staff (true). He goes to discuss the pineal gland thru per-historical times and how it may have tied in with the teaching of the ancient "mystery schools"--- ancient philosophies. He covers some of the the Masonic doctrines in relationship to the founding of the USA and ties it all end with an ancient religions of sorts---Hinduism/Buddhism,Christianity, Judaisms, Islamism, etc. He has a chapter devoted to many esoterica concepts derived from various religious text found thru out the world and how they have related to mankind's' progress. He discuss the concept of "torsion" within the natural world and how this may affect the time line--torsion as related to physics is very controversial subject. His chapter devoted to Pyramid power recently rediscovered by scientist is Russia is quite informative in as much the documentation he offers backs up his statements about this power being able to enhance ones health in numerous ways. This book is one that may be read not once but over and over to completely understand all the concepts as well as implications he throws at the reader. Its full of information and documentation that may be used to do deeper research if one wants to.Both the Forward and Introduction by James V. Hart (AWARD winning film-- "CONTACT" and Graham Hancock respectfully are without equal for example in Mr. Hart's forward he states---- "I understood with great clarity that here, finally, was a mind that was taking the time to connect the dots between the human species and the rest of the cosmos------to ready us finally to be come Citizens of the Galaxy". Mr. Hancock's introduction can best summed up in his own words--- "A fundamental message of this book, and of many ancient wisdom teachings, is that we are co-creators of our own reality and that the golden age is therefore just around the corner, all the time, for all of us. To embrace it we must set aside the negative patterns and reference frames of the past, let go of rigid habits of thought that serve is no longer, and be willing to accept a permanent shake-up in our outlook on just everything". Mr. Graham admonishes the reader not to be discouraged because there is a tremendous amount of good science here, much of it new to Western readers because it comes from the works of Russian scientist. The Russian research found through out this book is so radical that it has already been outlawed or totally disregarded by the mainstream.Finally, the last chapter is titled "DISCLOSURE". Let me reiterate I am not a UFO buff, I have never seen or experienced a UFO or close encounter and I have done a lot of flying in the past as a aircrew member in the military. But lately with all the materiel coming out within various media sources I am inclined there may be something to this alien concept as depicted by --------Gerald Clark who happens to have in his arsenal, a MSEE (Masters Of Science-Electrical Engineering) degree as well as having served as a attack helicopter pilot for the US Army. Personally, I don't think it was just random chance that I asked for a monumental book...and practically had one jump off the shelf and into my hands only moments after asking for it.In my mind, "The Source Field Investigations" is the closest book that has approached "The Field" in stature, if not even surpassed it in some ways. I would describe "The Source Field Investigations" as "The Field" on steroids. Now, as sports icon after sports icon has fallen recently in doping scandals, lets be honest here that steroids aren't always a good thing.That said, the book really has two different story lines. One of course is The Field and the other is ancient prophecy. There are some other tangents here or there, but that's the two main story lines. David Wilcock does an admiral job in tying the two together, in my opinion.The story line of the Source Field, while sometimes laying on the pseudoscience fairly thickly, was excellent. The ancient prophecy was not without merit, but I found myself wishing that the book had been broken into two, or possibly three books. One just of The Field, one of just ancient prophecy, and perhaps one tying the two together.Is everything in this book true? No. Whereas, McTaggart, I think, struggled to stay as scientific as possible, Wilcock permitted himself a little more freedom. However, while the book is a report-type book, based mostly around other people's research, Wilcock excels at tying things together in an entertaining fashion. Lets be clear here, even when sailing past pseudoscience into pure fiction, David is an entertaining author. That there is some fiction involved in the book should not scare anyone off. There is real science in here, too, and it is amazing.One area in which Wilcock surpassed McTaggart is the audiobook version of this book. McTaggart's "audiobook" is misleading and is not actually an audiobook at all, being closer to a lecture. Wilcock on the other hand, presented the audiobook in unabridged form and read it himself. I normally cringe a little when an author reads his own book, but Wilcock did an excellent job. Even with the audiobook being nineteen and a half hours, it flowed very well from beginning to end.Here is my biggest complaint of "The Source Field Investigations," which has to do with the subtitle, "The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations Behind the 2012 Prophecies." In my opinion, the book should have had a different title and been a couple of chapters shorter than what it was. I had seen this book for quite some time before I purchased it, because the title is so off-putting. The book ends incredibly weak, as David spends a lot of time talking about things that will happen in or around the year 2012. I realize that he probably didn't think there was going to be a dramatic change almost instantly in 2012, but listening to the book in 2013, it makes David sound kind of foolish; almost like a TV preacher predicting the apocalypse for the fourteenth time in just as many of years.If you have been eyeing this book, but not getting it because of the 2012 prophecy angle, do not let the title stop you. It is still a good book. No, it's an excellent book. You just have to take a few things with a grain of salt here or there. If you haven't read McTaggart's "The Field," get a copy of it, too.-=-=-=-=Update: I picked "PSIence: How New Discoveries in Quantum Physics and New Science May Explain the Existence of Paranormal Phenomena" by Marie D. Jones as a follow up to "Source Field Investigations." While it starts out slow, if the subject of ancient sacred texts and and modern quantum physics is of interest to you, these two books are very complimentary. In fact, I think Jones did a better job of reconciling the two subjects than Wilcock did. Or at least, Jones managed to do it in a much shorter and concise way.

It's really too soon for me to say "Whoopee!" And I admit that some days I am not diligent in "resting." Life gets in the way and resistance is always lurking to sabotage my good intentions.The practice is simple and easy but you've got to do it. And the more you do it, the better and easier it gets. Read it and then read it again. Yes, it is repetitious but we need to have this simple method pounded into our hard heads. Besides, the repetition is not annoying or tedious: It's all good.I love Frank Kinslow's books about Quantum Entrainment but Scott Kiloby is offering us an easier way to do the same thing. Do it diligently and I think you'll find that you can "fix" much more than any addiction you may have. And remember that we can have addictions to cocaine or computers, to soft drinks or soft porn -- the list is endless.

Fantastic book! Get this book if you suffer from addictions, trauma, or from anything. That's right; anything. This is the way to end suffering. Scott has masterfully combined somatic practices, non-dual awareness, mindfulness, and other modalities in experiential exercises to release the bodily held blockages to a felt sense of well-being (non-suffering). This is not conceptual, which would be just more theory and thinking. It's the actual experiences resulting from the exercises in the book that create change at the core level. Scott clearly says that this work is not easy and it's not a quick-fix. It takes work over a period of time to realize the results. My journey in recovery from addiction and trauma has followed this same path, but I didn't have a map like this book. Over the past twelve years, I've followed a path of exploration and experimentation that has included all of these elements and others. Although I've reached a place where I can say that I've recovered, had I found this book and applied what it teaches, I probably would have saved years of experimentation.

Beyond an explanation, the book is like a gentle trance with repetition helping you learn the ideas as you go. Almost too simple like so many amazing healing modalities. I use the ideas in my hypnotherapy and career counseling practice and have seen wonderful results.

All I can say is that I don't drink anymore. I was drinking a lot and after reading Scott's book and following the very simple directions I don't drink anymore. It didn't happen all at once but with continued resting and inquiry it all fell away. The drinking just fell away. I didn't have to quit or stop or white knuckle it. It just isn't an issue in my life anymore. It also worked with candy and bread. I forget that I even want a drink or candy or bread. Simply amazing! Thank you Scott!!

I purchased this book and sent it to a friend in jail that struggles with meth addiction. It is the only thing he has come across that has spurred him to want to change the way he thinks. He has been in and out of the system that has only offered the same approach to treating addictions year after year and he thinks he is smarter than their tools, so it has never worked for him. This is a different and more gentle philosophy that encourages one to learn new techniques in becoming aware of their thought processes and triggers. I am really excited to see positive, authentic changes in his behaviors due to a change in his thoughts.

Are there other approaches to addiction? Yes. Scott Kiloby offers one. For this interested in a "direct path"...OK there is no path...approach to spirituality here is an approach to addiction that fits.

Scott Kiloby writes so clearly most anyone can understand and experience the subject matter he is pointing too. I have been to a week long retreat at the Kiloby center in Palm Springs and the experience was exceptional. Scott is very thorough when sharing his own life experience with recovery. Scott and staff are the most loving, caring, and unassuming group of people you will ever meet. I have spent many years with different 12 step programs, inquiry, and self help books. Scott's Natural Rest is a tool that works, and is a tool we all already have we just need to notice it is with us no matter what our addiction or struggle. Thank YOU Scott for all your books, and the love you share with all people. Thank you Chad and Marina also. Get the book and get started.

The second time I read this book was even better. I read it as Scott recommended - one sentence or two and contemplate. That way - each sentence felt like holding a pearl in my hand. The source of all addictions - are thoughts themselves.We are addicted to our thinking before and after the rest of our addictions. What is unique and special about this book and Scott's work - It is strongly related to the energies in the body too - so, not just working the mind. Resting with this book had made it easy and clear and clearly shows the way to overcome addictions of any kind. I strongly recommend this book to you too. I love that you read it slowly. Hope that you let yourself take it in. Live it rather than read it.

This edition of GoodHousekeeping Cookbook falls far short of my expectations. I have a Good Housekeeping Cookbook I bought in 1993. That cookbook has been such a treasure because it explained in pictures the process of preparing the food with a very good index at the end of the book.. This edition(2018) is lacking such picturesque descriptions in so many cases & the index is very confusing& difficult to use! Very few pictures and as far as I'm concerned, it is more like a textbook than a cook book to enjoy in food/baking preps. This editions falls short in many ways.I hope they redo this with more pictures and better organized index.

This is an outstanding cookbook for beginning or advanced cooks looking to jazz things up a little. The format is divided into color-coded sections, clearly marked and annotated. Excellent photography accompanies nearly every recipe and the hardbound binding allows the cookbook to open to any page and stay open!Directions are clear and easy to follow. So glad I purchased it!

I learned cooking from the "good Housekeeping Cookbook", I gave following edition to my daughter, who loved itequally, and now the one I had ordered to my oldest grandchild, .

This cookbook is a great reference piece. The pictures are beautiful too. It's really helped me to new recipes that are too "basic/simple" for the more professional chef cookbooks.

The good housekeeping name took me in. A good long standing name.Reliable,easy,sensible, usable on a routine basis.

This is the encyclopedia for cooking. It is the primary source for anyone just learning or needing a recipe. It has been this way for decades. It will remain the standard for years to come

I like this cookbook, it has a lot of fresh easy recipes!! Pictures are beautiful!! We’ve tried maybe 4 recipes so far and liked every one of them! Won’t lie though, sometimes I feel like the flavors fall short of my expectations, but overall they still turn out tasty!
