Lewis offers suggestions and lists organizations that can be of assistance, and urges the promotion of prevention through educational campaigns. An especially strong chapter deals with the aftermath of suicide on family and friends. Lewis has an impressive grasp of her subject. The book is thoughtful, useful, and readable.
